Summer School Fun

The students at City Garden Montessori Charter in St. Louis had the opportunity to learn about soil this week. During the lesson, they learned about soil quality, where it comes from, and made edible soil profiles. One student stated, “I never knew soil was this cool!” Robert Busby, the school’s outdoor activity director, expressed his appreciation for the program. As he knows the importance of a student understanding the process of how their food is grown and raised.

Ag Education on the Move is working towards expanding efforts in the St. Louis area through summer programs. The partnership with City Garden is one of several that have welcomed the program into there school.
